I'm up too late, and have the audition at 10 in the morning. I am an idiot.
I got a nice compliment today. My rheumatologist said to me, "You're the perfect mom. You are always teaching your kids something. You should write a book about how to do that."
I protested that she only sees them when they are on best behavior, and she never sees me when I'm screaming at them to "shut up and leave me alone!" [that is an accurate quote, btw]. We laughed, but she repeated that she is very impressed with my demeanor with the kids and the way the kids conduct themselves, too.
They are awesome kids. I'm glad that so far I have not screwed them up terribly.
